Crackers Billing Software (“we”, “us”, “the service”) is billing and order software for crackers businesses, available at crackersbillingsoftware.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We aim to comply with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

What we collect

  • Account data: username, mobile number and password (stored hashed) when you sign up.
  • Business data you enter: your business profile, product catalogues, price lists, invoices, purchases, payments, ledgers and reports.
  • Your customers’ data you enter: party names, phone numbers, addresses and GSTINs you record for billing, and details submitted by your customers through your public order-enquiry link.
  • Technical data: basic logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

  • To provide the service: billing, stock, orders, reports and GST summaries.
  • To secure accounts, prevent abuse and fix problems.
  • To contact you about your account or important service changes.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your business or customer data for advertising. Data entered by your customers through your order link is visible only to your business.

Where it lives

Data is stored with our cloud database provider (Supabase) and hosting infrastructure. Offline bills queue on your own device until they sync.

Your data, your ownership

The business records you enter belong to your business. You can export your data, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data by writing to crackersbillingsoftware@gmail.com. We retain data only as long as your account is active or as law (for example, tax record-keeping rules) requires.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent by closing your account. Write to us at crackersbillingsoftware@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and note the new date above.
